Kids Art Parties at VEME Studios
Celebrate with a creative party led by one of our instructors! We set everything up, guide the kids step by step, and take care of the mess, so you can relax and enjoy the fun.

POTTERY: Coil Building (Ages 8+)
Kids learn the basics of hand building with real clay! Our instructor guides them through coil building, one of the oldest and most fun pottery techniques. We recommend coil vases, but we're happy to plan a different project the birthday child dreams up. The whole group makes the same project together. Before they leave, the kids glaze their own pieces in the colors they choose.

Pieces are fired in our kiln and take 4–8 weeks to finish. They'll be ready for pickup at VEME Studios in Greenport, NY. If you'd prefer shipping, just let your instructor know ($10 per child).

• Plus 30 minutes to share treats (2 hours total)

HOW TO BOOK

1. Choose your preferred date and time.
2. Enter the number of kids attending.
3. Add to cart and check out.

Parties require a minimum of 6 kids and a maximum of 10. For groups larger than 10, please email us.

GOOD TO KNOW

• Treats: Sweet treats such as cupcakes, cookies, or brownies are welcome. No other food or ice cream is permitted in the studio. We'll set aside an extra table for your party's treats, so please let us know in advance. Parents are responsible for cleaning up treats at the end of the party.
• Timing: Parents are welcome to arrive 15 minutes early to set up treats and balloons. We aren't able to offer any other extra time before or after the party. If you need more, please ask about rates.
• Drop-off: This is a drop-off party for guests. Parents of the birthday child are welcome to stay.
• Project choice: If the birthday child has a different project in mind, please email us when you book so our instructor can plan ahead.

If no date on our calendar fits your event, email us. We may be able to accommodate you or suggest alternatives. We also offer off-site parties, so if you have another location in mind, we're happy to bring the fun to you!
